After travelling extensively, Fleur settled in New Zealand on a working holiday, and trained as a barista with a well respected coffee company. She then returned to the UK and pursued her interest in catering by joining one of London’s most established caterers in their front of house team. Over a period of some ten years whilst working with them, Fleur has been involved in many different types and styles of parties and events, throughout London, its home counties and further a field. For nearly 15 years and until just recently, Fleur was directly involved in the running of a restaurant for a elite sporting club at one of England’s most prestigious horse racing events. Her love for food and retail remained strong, and this encouraged her to move back into Cafes. She moved to Brighton and immersed herself in the vast café culture. After absorbing and working within this market, Fleur moved back to Buckinghamshire. She joined a couple of the large event catering companies and  managed bistros, Thai noodle bars, a la carte restaurants and cafes, sometimes in large exhibition halls, golf courses and even in Londons Royal Parks. In between the major events Fleur continued with her love of Cafes and periodically assisted in the operation of a local Café. After a while she was asked to improve its profitability and service structure and has been their consultant for the past 3 years.

Having always been in the industry, Fleur prides herself on creating a loyal & hardworking team and believes that people are an investment. Her fascination with coffee, food and travel has taken around the globe, giving her a cultured view on food and its origins.

Fleurs extensive experience within the café/deli trade allows Seasons to offer independents sound advice and direction in this volatile but exciting and rewarding trade, whilst presenting a perfect platform to create our wonderful café deli.     I cannot imagine a Sunday morning without breakfast at Seasons! It is more than a routine…it’s an experience every week. From the warm welcome of Fleur, Andrew and the staff, to the outstanding selection on the menu (although we seem to have gotten ourselves addicted to the Huevos Rancheros!!!), the food must be experienced, not described. The pastry selection, which is placed temptingly near the cash register, is impossible to resist any time of day. If you haven’t been there, be prepared….one visit is all it takes and you’ll be hooked!!!
